Dallas, TX -- As a response to attendee feedback, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2009 will feature a "sold out" Stone Pavilion, a brand new area that brings natural stone vendors together in one prominent location on the show floor. Located right next to the Marmomacc Pavilion, the Stone Pavilion includes natural stone distributors and quarriers from all over the United States and the world.
"We heard from many attendees who said they wanted to see more natural stone at the show," states Dana Teague, Show Director for StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas. "We listened and brought in a diverse mix of exhibitors with a wide range of stone products to suit their needs."
The products on display in the Stone Pavilion include tiles, slabs and blocks of virtually every stone imaginable, including soapstone, sandstone, granite, marble and slate. Stock from China, Canada and Brazil is represented, along with the best in the country from Texas, Oklahoma, Vermont, Indiana and Pennsylvania, among others.
"Although StonExpo has expanded the programming and exhibit options for attendees to consider in 2009, we must all be reminded that the foundation of the show is, has been, and will be, natural stone," states Gary Distelhorst, CAE, Executive Vice President of the Marble Institute of America, an Official Sponsor of StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas. "An example is the show's growing emphasis on the Stone Pavilion, which encapsulates the best of what our industry has to offer and showcases the beauty and versatility of natural stone on an international scope."
StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas is owned and produced by Hanley Wood Exhibitions and will be held October 21-24, 2009 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marmomacc is owned and organized by Veronafiere, held annually in Verona, Italy. Its 44th edition will be held September 30 October 3rd, 2009.
