(Dallas, Texas) Continuing its status as a leader in the floor covering industry, SURFACES has launched a brand new, state-of- the-art Web site aimed at providing both exhibitors and attendees up-to-date industry information as well as providing historical data specific to their participation in all Hanley Wood shows.
The newly designed Web site offers visitors a much more user-friendly experience, both from an aesthetic and functionality perspective. Each page is designed with far less copy than on the previous site and is enhanced with clickable imagery making navigation throughout the site much more intuitive to the user.
The highlight feature is the portal site, ConnectionPOINT. By logging into ConnectionPOINT, attendees can view show specific information by year as well as register for any Hanley Wood show. Exhibitors can view their past booth sizes and sponsorships across all shows, and for the first time, they can submit their exhibit space contracts and sponsorships online.
"The new site is an incredible upgrade from what we've been able to offer our customers in the past," said Dana Teague, Show Director. "Not only are we increasing the online experience for exhibitors and attendees alike, we have pioneered features that will become industry standards for show sites of the future."
The site features two distinct sides one for exhibitors and one for attendees with RSS feeds, an online sponsorship gallery, and an industry resource center complete with reference sites and archives of past show information.
"Our intention was to create a site that will be useful not only in providing pertinent show information, but as a year-round resource and reference site for the floor covering industry," continued Teague.
SURFACES' new web site is located at www.Surfaces.com.
SURFACES 2010 will be held February 2-4, 2010 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. Exhibits are open Tuesday Thursday and the Education Program opens Monday, February 1 and goes through Thursday. For more information on SURFACES 2010, call 800.547.3477 or 972.536.6400.
The official sponsor of SURFACES is the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA), the floor covering industry's largest advocacy organization representing floor covering retailers, contractors and allied service providers throughout North America.
The WFCA is a recognized leader in marketing research, industry certification programs, and operates the premier consumer flooring web site, www.wfca.org, providing unbiased information about every type of floor covering and connecting customers to members' retail stores. The WFCA also influences public policy affecting the floor covering industry and consumers. For more information about the WFCA, visit www.wfca-pro.org.
